Bunuh Diri

Bunuh diri merupakan tindakan akhir yang banyak dilakukan oleh penderita gangguan psikologis seperti penderita depresi mayor.
Persentase tindakan bunuh diri yang berhasil dilakukan oleh laki-laki lebih banyak dibanding dengan perempuan.
Namun begitu, persentase percobaan bunuh diri yang dilakukan perempuan lebih banyak ketimbang laki-laki.
Di beberapa negara bagian AS, terdapat hukum yang menggolongkan bunuh diri sebagai tindakan kriminal.
Beberapa studi yang dilakukan masih belum dapat secara jelas mendefinisikan bunuh diri.

Mood dan Afek

Setiap manusia pastilah mempunyai hati dan pikiran, yang mana terkadang salah satu diantaranya mendominasi atau bahkan saling bertolak belakang dalam menghadapi suatu kejadian.
Hati merupakan letak dimana emosi kita berada, adakalanya emosi ini menentukan bagaimana kita berpikir, memutuskan masalah dan melihat dalam perspektif yang berbeda.

Emosi itu sendiri berarti perasaan yang dihayati dalam kesadaran dan sifatnya kompleks, melibatkan antara pikiran, persepsi, dan perilaku tiap individu.

Emosi dapat dibedakan menjadi 'mood' dan 'afek'.
Pertama-tama akan dimulai penjelasan mengenai mood dan jenis-jenisnya, yang dilanjutkan nanti dengan penjelasan afek beserta jenis-jenisnya.

Guess that u've already heard about 'masochist'. Not only Sadistic Personality but also Masochistic Personality was dropped in DSM-IV.
